We believe art is the solution. Through access to Hilltop Artists... Our students learn creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and resilience. Our students - and their families - are connect to the resources they need to be healthy, engaged, and supported. 4 Call for Support At 12:25, Erin Jones will come on stage
and make an appeal. At this time, please grab your table captain packets (white envelopes that will be at each table with donation forms inside). Please wait until she is done making the appeal before handing out the forms. Guests can use the donation form to make a one-time gift and/or commit to a year-long pledge.* $120 = $10 a month for one year: provides a Team Production student with a scholarship for 12 hours of instruction. $300 = $25 a month for one year: provides 3 students with a scholarship for 2 weeks of Summer School. Consider having a table goal: Did you know, $1400 provides a Team Production student with a scholarship for an entire school year! * Those who give $200 or more in 2016 will receive an invitation to the Winter Pre-sale on Friday Dec. 9, 2016.

5 Silent Auction These beautiful centerpieces will be available for purchase via silent-auction at the Luncheon. Glass artists construct incalmo vessels by fusing together two carefully blown glass pieces into one seamless art object. With the help of the talented Museum of Glass hot shop team during their week-long residency, our students pushed their skills to the max and tackled the challenge of incalmo to create the stunning vases that will be featured at the Luncheon. The Silent Auction will take place between 10:30am to 11:30am Number of Centerpieces: 55 Located on tables in the ballroom

6 The 2016 Better Futures Luncheon will be in the Bicentennial Pavilion.
Orientation The 2016 Better Futures Luncheon will be in the Bicentennial Pavilion. Guests who enter the main entrance, or enter directly from the parking lot near the Venice Ballroom, can take stairs or elevators to the top floor. They will exit the doors near the hotel’s Bite restaurant and cross the courtyard to enter the Bicentennial Pavilion. Parking Starting at 10:30am, there will be attendants on all parking levels who will take $5 cash for parking. There are also machines that accept credit cards, which will cost $8 or more, depending on how long you stay. In addition to the hotel parking: There is limited street parking - watch out for hour restrictions and pay at the nearby meters. Consider parking at the dome station and take the lightrail.

7 Check-In/Check-Out We will be ready to welcome guests in the lobby of the Bicentennial Pavilion. They do not need to bring a confirmation with them. At the designated check-in area, guests can... Pick up their nametag. Vegetarian place cards will be with corresponding name tags. Pay for their ticket. If you are not paying for your guests, please encourage them to pre-pay via our website or by phone, (253) This will speed up the check-in process. At the designated check-out area, guests can... Pre-register their card for expedited silent-auction check out. Purchase non-auction “retail” glass. Pay for and pick up silent-auction glass.

8 Final Table Captain Checklist
Guest lists - 10 names and addresses per table - should now be submitted - thank you! Are any of your guests vegetarian? The last day to submit this information is September 19th. your guests a reminder one week prior to the Luncheon. Let your guests know you can’t wait to see them! Call to confirm with your guests 2 days before. The day of the event, serve as an ambassador for Hilltop Artists to ensure your guests have a positive experience. Take attendance at your table. A guest list for your table will be in the white envelope at your table. Take a brief moment to check off names (or write in last minute changes). Please put the attendance sheet back in the white envelope. Hand out and then collect donation forms from your guests. Please give your white envelope to Donna Costi, Hilltop Artists Finance Manager Thank your guests for coming to the Luncheon. A follow-up call or is a nice touch. Fill out post-Luncheon survey and encourage your guests to do so as well. Donna
