3. DEFINING SOCIAL CHANGE
Alterations in the way a society is organized and in the beliefs and behaviours of the people who live in it. May include changes to social institutions (e.g., the family), in social relations (e.g. between different groups), in social behaviours (e.g. voting patterns), and in ideology (e.g. individualism to collectivism)

Leadership is one of the most important components for social change to occur. A leader with charisma is key to bring about social change (large vision, magnetic style, strong popular support, etc…).
