Research Project Classroom Research What’s next? Class Presentation We offer three projects that you can design to be used as an assessment opportunity or as extended learning opportunities. 1. Research Project: Students or teams can conduct research on a topic of interest chosen by the student or teacher. The research should include students noting which internet search queries or operators they used. (Teaming Option: this project is an excellent opportunity to support other classes by having students’ research projects coincide with a topic, person, etc. in another area of study e.g., Social Students, History, Science). 2. Class Presentation: Students or teams can prepare a class presentation demonstrating how to perform an internet search. (Teaming Option: this project could be tailored to support other courses. For example, the presentation theme could coincide with what’s being taught in Mathematics or English). 3. Classroom Research: Students or teams could conduct research for teachers. (Teaming Option: students could perform research for other subject teachers). End Module © Copyright, Johns Hopkins University. All Rights Reserved. © Copyright, Johns Hopkins University.
