Officially known as the English Language Acquisition, Language Enhancement and Academic Achievement Act
Part of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001
Specifically targeted to benefit Limited English Proficient students
Title 3 funds are used to develop programs and provide support to help EL students:
Attain English proficiency
Meet the same academic standards as their English speaking peers in all content areas
