X. Independent Laboratory Results
Valve design is very durable. Dimensionally and Metallurgically, the shafts are equal to or better than US OE Manufacturers. Visual Quality showed that the viewed dampers are as good as most OE dampers. External appearance of all units (finish, visual quality of welds and brackets) was equally as good.
15
X. Independent Laboratory Results
Ultima’s Design process is to copy dimensions and force characteristics of the ‘market leader’. This ensures adequate mechanical strength and appropriate vehicle ride performance. Long term durability tests show the following: The quality of the Ultima shafts are comparable to OE units. The seals are produced by a respected OE manufacturer with a design very typical of those found in the vast majority of dampers on the market today.

Why Ultima? Unique opportunity for all customers to enter into a new category and improve their margin and market share significantly. KYB and Monroe margins bring a WD a margin between 26% - 32%. If a WD utilizes the Ultima one price for all strategy of $54.95 on struts they can make a margin in the low to mid 40%’s! Ultima appeals to a market that is not currently being catered to by either KYB or Monroe. You will gain ride control market share without significant degradation to your KYB or Monroe purchases. Best value on the market: Top Quality Best Coverage Very Competitive Price
