Accessing PowerTeacher Pro
Login like you normally would There are 2 links in the upper left under Navigation – opens with the 1st class on the list Under the specific course – opens PTP with that class as active class

Left-side items are referred to as charms – These take you to additional menu options Class list is in the top center Create button is used to create Assignments and categories Help – provides help NOTE – This help page only displays the 1st time you open up PTP

Creating Categories In the upper right click on Create Choose Category NOTE – If final grade calculations are being set by the district categories will be pushed from the district. Any categories created

Setting up Grade Calculations - Traditional Use the settings charm on the left side Traditional Grades – total points by default Can be pushed out by district office If pushed out district decides if teachers will be able to edit

Creating Assignments Use the create button in the upper right side of the bar. Very much like creating assignments in PTG Selecting a Category takes on the defaults of that category. Due date determines the term it will show in.

Can be changed with Grading > Scoresheet Traditional Comment Verification Category Totals All Reporting Terms For these you need to make sure you are in the correct reporting term
