THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE AND THE EUROPEAN UNION CREATED THIS DAY ON THE 6TH OF DECEMBER 2001.
THE MAIN AIM IS TO ENCOURAGE LANGUAGE LEARNING ACROSS EUROPE.
THIS MEANS ALL EUROPEANS ARE ENCOURAGED TO TAKE UP A NEW LANGUAGE.
