4. Action Item 680 MCR0062: Investigate scale of problem arising from the
current open-ended arrangement by which replacement
readings can be submitted by Networks in relation to COS
transactions.
MCR 0062 was raised on to request the introduction of a
rule to MPD 1 NQH - Change Of Supplier Process whereby readings
received outside a 20 day period after CoS completion would not
trigger withdrawal and replacement of the COS read.
Suppliers were asked to investigate the problem and provide feedback
to RMDS for the Conference Call on 9th December. No comments
have been received to date therefore if no feedback received by CC of
10th March we will propose closure of this action item. 4

5. Action Item 698
COS Objections: RMDS to co-ordinate setting up of a Code of Practice Working Group
RMDS has investigated COS Objections Statistics and found a variance in how COS Objections are handled.
It was agreed at the IGG of 17th January 2010 to form a Working Group to define a Code of Practice in this area.
Can all Suppliers please nominate a representative for this working group, preferably at today’s meeting.
