3. PLEDGE
I pledge myself to uphold The highest purposes of the National Junior Honor Society To which I have been selected. I will be true to the principles For which it stands. I will be loyal to my school And maintain and encourage High Standards of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character and Citizenship. I will strive every day To make its ideals The Ideals of my school and my life.

4. Accolades Service Hours
Our chapter contributed nearly 3,000 hours of Community Service.
These included work at
Local churches
Food Banks
Local Schools
Animal Shelters
Neighborhood Cleanups
Jefferson Campus

5. Accolades Food Drive Our chapter set a new school record.
Donated equivalent of over 9,300 lbs. of food to help the needy here in San Antonio.
Rated one of the top schools in San Antonio.

6. Accolades Pasta for Pennies Our chapter exceeded our goal
Raised $3,777 to help cure cancer
Celebrated by awarding:
1 Olive Garden Luncheon
3 Pizza Parties
3 Ice Cream Parties

7. Personal service project
Extended- Due by next Thursday
Individual Service hours are also mandatory as well and count towards yearly total.
This is a personalized project that you dedicate yourself to during the year.
These projects will be submitted in various forms- PPT, Scrapbook, Video, Diary, Poster, or Written Essay.
