Compare and contrast one character/group of characters from the play with one person/group of people from the documentary. What similar actions did they take? What did they do differently? What characteristics did they have in common? How were they different?
Compare and contrast the plot of the play with the storyline of the documentary. What common events took place? Other than changes in the time period, what events differed? What impact did the change in time period have one the play versus the documentary story?
What about society makes it possible for these types of events to occur even hundreds of years later? Do you feel that there is something that can be changed in society that would disallow for these types of mass hysteria? If so, what would they be?
