Final draft is due one week from today… Rough draft/outline/sketch is due Friday (for a grade) Final Project WILL be a TEST grade Standard grading policy applies Whether this helps or hurts your grade is entirely up to you Quality work is expected, trying to pull this off in one night will fail you You will have several options to choose from Not doing a project or not turning something in is NOT one of your options. Children’s story book-
Must include multiple colors, an actual story line, characters and dialogue. I should be able to read this to my daughters as an actual bedtime story. Twitter/Instagram/Social Media Page Must include multiple colors and a minimum of 15 tweets/entries/posts Journal/Diary entry Finished product must look like an actual journal, front/back cover etc. Written from the perspective of DNA, must include a minimum of 15 entries. “Dear diary, today I ….” Comic Strip Must include multiple colors and characters. Characters must have dialogue that reveals knowledge of content Minimum of 15 scenes. Write a letter from one DNA strand to another or from DNA to any of the cell’s organelles. Written from the perspective of DNA. The letter must be about a dilemma or drama situation going on in the life of DNA and have a minimum of 7 paragraphs Write/produce a Rap Song/Video Must be in video format and have all ten words included in the lyrics. Copy of lyrics must be turned in with video or captioned in the video. Song must include music and be a minimum of three minutes long. Develop test review questions (or a mind map/graphic organizer) One test question per word. (15 total) What kind of questions do you think will be asked? Must be rigorous and challenging. True/False questions will not be accepted. Questions must be original and not grabbed from google. At least five of the questions must include a graphic or picture related to the question. Restaurant Menu Must include multiple colors, an original name for the restaurant. One menu item per word (with pictures) with a content related description of the dish. Make a card sort activity Must include word cards, Definitions, and colored pictures. Must be challenging and of good enough quality that I could use it in class. Include instructions and an answer key. (I’d prefer these to be done on computer not by hand)
