Pennsylvania was established in 1681, and William Penn founded/established Pennsylvania.

The colonists consisted of the Quakers, persecuted religious groups, and people who looked for religious freedom. What form of government did the colonists establish? Was like a liberal government in other English colonies Had a council/assembly People elected people to be on the assembly/council

Religious practices The freedom of religion in Pennsylvania (complete freedom of religion for everybody who believed in God) brought not only English, Welsh, German and Dutch Quakers to the colony, but also Huguenots (French Protestants), Mennonites, Amish, and Lutherans from Catholic German states.

Most people in colonial times worked very hard. Men would be working in the fields, or perhaps fishing or hunting women would cook and preserve food, make household items like soap and candles
