For and against In your groups divide your large sheet of paper into two sections In one section record the arguments for the ban In the other record the arguments against the ban Identify which points are ‘Fact’ and which are ‘Opinion’

Consequences What effect would the ban have on Young people? Shop owners? Parents?

Alternatives What alternatives are there for:
Young people under 16? Shop owners? Parents? Each alternative should be based on scientific reasoning (“because....”)
