YES! Why? Because those with higher education earn more money than those who do not posses a college education.

Why go to College: Reason 1:
-Every bit of education you get after high school increases the chances you’ll earn good pay. Most college graduates earn a lot more money during their working years than people who stop their education in high school.

-Continuing education after high school is much more important for your generation than it was for your parents’ generation. Today, most good jobs require more than a high school diploma. Businesses want to hire people who know how to think and solve problems.

Activity Carlos graduated from Palm Springs High School and went to work at Taco Bell. He began making only $9.00 an hour (that’s minimum wage), but after a year, he got a raise and is now making $9.50 an hour. Carlos works 40 hours a week. How much does Carlos make a month?

His electric bill is $40 a month, his phone bill is $70 a month, his car payment is $200 a month and he gives his mom and dad $200 a month to help them out.
