Draw a representation of the map. Next write in your own words what the map is! Raise your hand if you need help.. Atlas are available if you want a closer look at each type of map

Steps to Understanding a Map
Title: describes information it presents. (tectonic map) Scale: is used to show much the map has been reduced. Shows actual distance Compass Rose: shows where the four basic directions Legend: lists the symbols used on the map
