Glass Ampoules Hermetically sealed Protects liquid from contamination
Commonly used for Pharmaceuticals Hygroscopic liquids Air or water sensitive liquids Pre-scored neck Typically ampoules are opened by putting pressure on the section above the neck and pushing away from the user. This doesn’t always happen cleanly and can lead to injury.
