From the previous activity can you define Habitat? Another word for habitat is a BIOME. A biome is one of Earth’s large ecosystems / habitat, with its own kind of climate, soil, plants, and animals.

What is the difference between Climate and Temperature? Climate The average weather conditions of a certain region, including temperature, rainfall, and wind. Temperature The degree of hotness or coldness of a body or environment

Homework: Go back to each of the Biomes discussed in this lesson and visit the web-site. Find at least three (3) plants / flora, found in each of those habitats. Remember the biomes: Taiga, Tundra and Deciduous Forest.
