3. Procurement and Contracting

Engineering consultant – design and construction supervision ( includes sanitation facilities and water supply systems)
Capacity Building Consultant –build capacity of the DA Private Sector etc to enable them manage the facilities to be provided and also replicate the delivery of improved services
Hygiene Education and Community Management Consultant – he will lead the hygiene campaigns and promote behavioural change
c) Procurement of Civil Contractors – 28 Sept, 2010 – 6 Jan, 2011
Three (3) Lots (three contractors) will be required to construct all facilities proposed for Huni Valley
d) Procurement Procedure for this Project
AWF/ AfDB rules and guidelines for procurement will apply to this project. Only References will be made to the Public Procurement Act of Ghana (Act 663)
