2. What is April fools day? April Fools' Day is celebrated in many countries on April 1 every year. Sometimes referred to as All Fools' Day It is widely recognized and celebrated as a day when people play practical jokes and hoaxes on each other.

3. Why is it celebrated? There are various theories for its celebration. Its origin is uncertain. Therefore we cannot trace back to its authentic origin and cause of celebration

4. Question.... Can we celebrate April Fools day?

5. Think.... April Fools day is all about..... Lying. Playing pranks. Time pass/ vain. Following a futile culture.

6. Abu Umamah Al-Bahili (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, " I guarantee a home in the middle of Jannah for one who abandons lying even if its just for the sake of fun'' [Abu Dawud].

7. It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah(RA) that the Messenger of Allah(peace be upon) said: "The signs of the hypocrite are three: when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he is entrusted with something, he betrays that trust." (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 33; Muslim, 59)

8. Hazrat Wasilah[Allah be pleased with him] reported that the Messenger of Allah(peace be upon) said: "Do not display pleasure at your brothers misfortune. [Tirmidhi]

9. It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah[RA] said: "They said, 'O Messenger of Allaah, you joke with us.' He said, 'But I only speak the truth. (narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 1990)

10. He Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever imitates a people is one of them." (narrated by Ahmad) If we imitate the practices of a wrong community, we are one of the wrong doers.

11. It was narrated by Mu'aawiyah ibn Haydah[ra] that he heard the Prophet (pbuh) say: 'Woe to the one who talks to make the people laugh and tells lies, woe to him, woe to him. ( narrated by al-Tirmidhi).

12. Based on the concept of April Fools day and authentic Hadith, let us judge by ourselves and say NO to APRIL FOOLS DAY
