17 public library networks from the Autonomous Regions and the Autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla.

allows to locate and know the availability of the bibliographic items in real time and, most of all, aims to boost the Interlibrary Loan

3. Union Catalog of Spanish Public Libraries
The catalog has also a place for specific searches in “Special Catalogs”, where the most important fields in order to locate the documents from “Serials: magazines and newspapers”, “magazine articles”, “Rare Books” and “New Documents” have been established.
The tool is adapted to mobile devices
The OPAC from CCBIP is available in 7 languages: Spanish, Catalan, Euskera, Galician, Valencian, English and French

5. Makerspace Round Table Discussion Madrid, 23th March 2017
Open a debate around Public Libraries interest in makerspaces
The Ministry invite people from different sectors: creative industries, consultancy in cocreation projects, social anthropology and librarians.
We are working now in the next steps, as the response of libraries was very positive: they want to get involved.

6. Digital Services Chart
On progress
A library cooperation Council WG is identifying all the digital services library offers.
The goal isto gather this information for: include it in the services chart so the patrons know all the services they are offered.
The services are gathered around 3 categories: infrastructure, content and services. Each of the services are shortly described.

7. Decalog of the Social Role of the Public Library.
The Library Cooperation Council approved last week a Decalog of the Social Role of the Public Library.
The goal is to promote the potencial of the public libraries as hubs for citizen participation and community building.
