4. All About Me- Education and Experience
My name is Travis Ling.
I will be Tomball Star Academy’s PE and Health Teacher.
This will be my 19th year in education.
18 of those coaching. I’ve coached football, baseball, golf, basketball, and track and field at the Varsity, Jr. Varsity, and Jr. High levels.
The schools I’ve coached/taught in include: Katy High School, York Jr. High, Salado High School and Jr. High, Navasota High School, and Killeen High School.
I graduated with a Bachelors in Physical Education from Mary Hardin Baylor and a masters’ degree in Sports Management from The United States Sports Academy.
Over the last nineteen years, I’ve taught health and science in the classroom setting.

5. All About Me- My Family
I am married to Heather Ling, who is a 4th grade math and science teacher at Timber Creek Elementary, and together we have 6 children…1st grade through senior in high school. We love to travel, camp and hike, visit family, and eat at fun restaurants all over Texas. We also enjoy cooking together at home and watching Food Network.
