He was constantly paranoid that others wanted to take his throne.
Murdered at least 6 relatives, including a wife and 3 sons.

God acknowledges the heartbreak, pain, and mourning of an Exiled Israel;
but He also promises Redemption and Joy through a “New Covenant.”

Jeremiah 31: The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying:    “I have loved you with an everlasting love;    I have drawn you with loving-kindness. 4 I will build you up again    and you will be rebuilt, O Virgin Israel. Again you will take up your tambourines    and go out to dance with the joyful.”

22. The 1st Christmas should remind us that life on Earth is dangerous.
We have an “Enemy” that wishes to steal away our peace, hope, and joy.

23. With the eternal love of God being displayed in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ; we can find Joy this Christmas and at any time of the year!
