The Zhou used this idea to use for their takeover ruling of the former Shang kingdom.
The Zhou kings were also called the "Sons of Heaven" and the Chinese empire was dubbed the "Celestial Empire”

The Zhou also brought their religion with them.

Around 1150 BC, the Zhou moved from the Fen River 汾水 valley in modern Shanxi to the Wei River.

Was the using of glass and multi-color of wooden or bamboo were used for heat in the winter in a fire.
Begin of iron casting technology and widespread use of iron tools during a war.

10. Religion
The religion of the Zhou people was different from the Shang religion. While the Shang kings saw the universe filled with ghost and spirits of good and evil, the Zhou religion was more abstract.

11. Summary
Alyssa:
I learned that the Eastern Zhou Dynasty was a ruler from 770 B.C. to 256 B.C . for 551 years. Zhou Wuwang established the Zhou Dynasty and made Haojing (the present Chang'an County, Shaanxi Province) its capital.
Logan
I learned that the Zhou began as a semi-nomadic tribe that lived west of the Shang kingdom, soon the eastern Zhou became stronger than the Shang and defeated them in about 1040 B.C.
