We live in the Temperate Deciduous Forest. Eastern half of the United States, Canada, Europe, parts of Russia, China, and Japan.

Rainfall Next to the rainforest, the temperate deciduous gets the second-most amount of rainfall per year. The average rainfall is 30 to 60 inches per year.

These forests have hot summers and cold winters. Main trees are deciduous trees Deciduous means that these plants lose their leaves every year and grow them back. Also have evergreen trees. They contain a wide assortment of species, plant and and animal. Temperate forests have rich soil. 4 distinct seasons: spring , summer, winter and fall
