Leaders can schedule a meeting from within Outlook and send out meeting invitations that include a quick-join link, allowing participants to join your meeting directly from their Outlook invitation. While in an Customized Net Conference session, leaders can monitor and control the audio Instant Meeting portion directly from their screen. Leaders can then view, mute and/or disconnect participants as needed.

Showing a presentation or any other printable document provides a visual element to your meeting, increasing subject matter retention. Customized Net enable you to demo your web site or review online applications. You can also conduct a participant survey during or after your meetings to gauge audience interest or measure retention. The Whiteboard feature allows leaders to capture notes and action items during the meeting, which can later be distributed as meeting minutes. Polling provides immediate feedback during a meeting and keeps your call interactive and engaging. The Annotation feature allows you to highlight or point to areas of interest on your slide during your presentation. Chat allows participants to provide you with information without disrupting the meeting, or you can divide the meeting into subgroups that can chat to one another. Q&A allows the participant to communicate with the leader directly or raise their hand to ask a question. Participants can ask questions online. Leaders can respond to the participant privately or show the question and answer to the entire audience. Web Cam – adds a Face to the voice and allows participants to see the presenter in a window placed next to the presentation Event Registration Leaders can create a unique Event registration page to manage participant registration. Leaders can require participants to answer questions or meet certain requirements before sending them the meeting information. Reminders and thank-you notes are sent out automatically. Meeting Lobby Leaders can require participants to wait in the Meeting Lobby until the meeting start time. Self-serve Replay Leaders can start, stop and “publish” their replay. Participants can access their Advanced or Customized Net site, enter the Meeting ID/Password and see and hear the entire meeting from their PC.. Self-serve replay allows you to capture the entire meeting including audio for future viewing. Full-screen option allows participants to have your presentation take up their entire screen to enhance their viewing experience. Expanded content view area – to allow more space for the primary presentation to be displayed Floating windows – allows leader to select the layout of their desktop. Memory of preferred window placement – remembers where the leader placed the panes during their last session and utilizes that placement in the next session Handouts – The Leader may upload documents they wish to share with the participants before or during the meeting Shared Notes – Allows the leader and participants to capture notes during the meeting and share them with everyone after the cal for their records Feedback/Mood Indicator and Seating Chart. You will be able to see at a glance about how many participants have joined and if any of them have questions or problems. You can also use[AP2]  this tool as a quick way to ask questions and get feedback. For example, “If this is your first experience with our product, please turn your seat color red.” This can be an easy way to keep your audience involved. Language Localization Participants who have selected the following languages in their browser may see the console text in that language; English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, French, German and Spanish. Live Meeting is secure using industry standard 128 bit SSL encryption.  Reports Leaders can run reports showing their meeting details, including the number of participants, the length of the meeting and how much storage room their replay takes up. *Unavailable on Live Meeting Standard

5 LM2007 Outlook Integration
1. Install the Outlook Plug-in located at: or 2. Go to Outlook Select “Conferencing” Go to “User Accounts” 3. Enter the URL for your new LM2007 site* Enter your Manage My Meetings username and password *For customers with both LM2005 and LM2007, it will be necessary to enter the URL for the service you are using during that particular call until all of your platforms are migrated.

6 Logging into MyMeetings
To start an Advanced or Customized Net Conference, go to Once there Click on the Manage My Meetings “Login” link.

8 Immediately start a meeting
Live Meeting Home Page Immediately start a meeting Leader Tools This is the Net Conference Live Meeting home page. You may save the address in your favorites and come directly to this page in the future, or you may continue to go to through the Manage My Meetings tab. If you come directly here, you will be asked to enter your login and password. You can start a meeting immediately by clicking on the “Meeting Now” link or you can schedule a meeting for the future by clicking on the “Schedule Meeting” link. If you click on the “Schedule Meeting” link, you will be able to decide the day and time and send out invitations to participants. Other methods of sending out invitations and how to change the user preferences are discussed in other tutorials. Replays

9 Live Meeting Home Page Scheduling Your Meeting
Complete the meeting form fields Fields marked with asterisks are required fields Click “Meeting Options” to change the defaults and to setup Audio Conference settings Click “Save” when finished Select the date and time To begin scheduling meetings, follow this simple process: Step 1: Complete the meeting form fields. Mandatory fields have been marked with an asterisk. If you wanted to set your own defaults you would click on "Meeting Options". For this tutorial, we will use the set defaults. Step 2: You may enter the presenters’ and attendees’ s here, and an invitation will go to them. Presenters are sent a different passcode and link than other participants/attendees. You may also send out invitations from Outlook or from within the meeting. Step 3: Select which method you wish the invites to be sent Step 4: Once the fields are entered, click on “Save"

Import presentations via the “Upload File” icon - These documents are for presentation only and cannot be edited. Collaborate on and edit documents by using “Share a Program” or “Share Your Desktop” Share information with your audience via the other tools: - Whiteboards - Polling - Text Page - Web Page - Screen Snapshot Once in your meeting, you may import a presentation or document to be shown during the meeting, or share an application. To show a presentation, go to “Share” in the menu and select “Upload File (View Only”. If you would rather share an application, then select “Share a Program or Share Your Desktop”. After importing a document to the meeting your may navigate through your presentation by clicking on the thumbnail version of the slide you would like to show or clicking on the arrow keys on your keyboard. If you have imported more than one presentation, you may select the presentation to be shown in the “Resources” area
