They receive an estimate based on their school membership and on statewide scores of all 3rd graders.
How are kids in the bottom quartile (Q1) determined?
If student has 3 years of test scores, their quartile membership is determined from year 1
If student has 2 years of test scores, their quartile membership is determined from the prior year
If they are third graders or new to PED school, then membership comes from the current year
