In the United States, there are many interesting buildings. Architecture is a huge part of our lives. It shapes who we are and how we live. Our architecture also mirrors our beliefs and often feelings.

This house is really cool and funky looking. It has a lot of character and personality. This is an example of a home in our region that we liked.

5. Lifestyle
In America we have a specific type of architecture. We like bright, striped buildings that match many of our personalities. Also we like buildings that have wide, tall pillars. It shows modernization. Most people are on the go and like cool, clean places places so people selling things have flashy, recognizable buildings. Some houses have an old look and most people think it is really cool

6. How does climate affect architecture
Climate can affect architecture because if someone wanted to put a water park in Cherrapunji it wouldn't get used a lot because Cherrapunjee is one of the wettest places in the world! Or if someone wanted to build a tower they need to figure out if a storm is coming. In the south, it was really hot so people would sleep on their front porches because air conditioning had not been invented yet.
People would also build steep roofs in snowy areas,
that way the snow will not destroy the roof.
Cherrapunji is in northeast America.

7. Language English was a West Germanic language that originated
from Anglo-Frisian, dialects brought to Britain
in the fifth to seventh
centuries by Germanic invaders and
settlers from what is now
northwest Germany and the Netherlands.

8. Religion in Architecture
`Religion is just as an important part of our architecture now as it was a long time ago. Religion actually plays a large part in the world of architecture. Take chapels, for example. Some of their unique styles are used in other buildings as well. Some such styles include, high windows, stained glass windows, towers and even turrets. This building
