Course description: This MOOC was designed for English language learners of upper-intermediate and advanced levels who are eager to enhance their knowledge of English Idioms, namely their origin, history, meaning, ways of usage. This course aims to enrich your language, both written and spoken, making your speech more natural and fluent. Aim of the course: The main aim of this course is to help the learners to start using English idioms on a daily basis. Targets of the course: Discover the origin and history of English Idioms; Discover the meaning and how the meaning has changed over the time; Learn how to use English Idioms correctly and wisely.
