3 The FSFN System The FSFN System continues to evolve and change
These changes will continue to impact the Integrated Curriculum. All Seed Data must be entered during an open data window to be saved for continued use.

4 Expectations & Purposes of Seed Data
To familiarize yourself with the process of inputting the necessary seed data to train the integrated pre-service curriculum. Develop the ability to teach others, to assist with the continued data entry during scheduled open data windows. Continue to maintain and update seed data after the implementation of new FSFN releases and builds.

5 Have proficient knowledge of FSFN
Prior to entering Seed Data you must: Ensure agency user IDs and Passwords are set-up and activated. DCF Helpdesk Be knowledgeable of the flow and content of the integrated pre-service curriculum. Have proficient knowledge of FSFN

6 Preparation Desktop Clean-up Prepare User IDs
Review curriculum, scenarios, job aids and case materials

7 Understanding log-in profiles
(seed data booklet page 7) Used to create intakes. Used to transfer intakes to other IDs. Can accept cases for approvals. Super User (Trainer) Must be used to create all individual pieces of work (e.g. safety assessments, case plans, removal episodes, etc. Only have the initial approval level Worker (trainee)

8 Worker Profiles Role/Job Class Supervisor Security User Group
(seed data booklet page 7) Supervisor Role/Job Class Super User System Generated Security User Group Ensuring profiles are adjusted appropriately for each log in will bypass the system restrictions that are applicable in the production region, providing the ability for all user IDs to create all types of work in the case and perform approvals.
