It is a division of the Kentucky Department of Education and its purpose is to encourage students to use project based learning principles to solve school and community needs. A great place to go get more information about STLP is the website: stlp.education.ky.gov

To do this, the coordinator will go to the STLP website and find where it says Get Recognized. Click on Get Recognized Now and fill out the form. Being a recognized STLP is an important first step for starting a new STLP. It is also one of the 4 things that a team needs to do in order to qualify for Gold Status.

19 DPOJ Hello Everyone. I want to tell you about DPOJ – Digital Product Online Judging a virtual competition that is open to any students who do digital projects.

20 Life Changing Information
The most important thing to know is that projects for DPOJ can come from anyone in your school and they can be projects that already exist and were not created specifically for this competition. The second most important thing to know is that all the judging is completed online. This means your students could win a state champion technology competition without ever having to travel anywhere!

21 Digital Product Online Judging
21 Categories 1 or 2 teams or individuals Decide which ones are going to State There are 21 different categories that students can enter. There is no limit to how many categories a student can enter. Each category has its own rules about whether the school can have 1 or 2 submissions of teams or individuals. Once the products are judged, some will continue on to be judged again at state.
