Poetry Form The structure a poet chooses to convey a poem

Stanza Two or more lines of poetry that together form one of the divisions of a poem. Stanzas are usually the same length and follow the same pattern

Rhyme Rhyme Scheme The occurrence of the same or similar
sounds at the end of two or more words Rhyme Scheme The pattern established by the arrangement of rhymes in a stanza or poem. They are generally described by using letters to point out the reoccurring rhyme such as ABAB.

Rhythm Repetition A musical quality produced by the repetition
of stressed and unstressed syllables. It is like the beat in music. Repetition Repeating a word or phrase throughout a poem
