First EMR in the Industry Diabetes Physician Recognition Program Automated Submission Enabling Pay for Performance Centricity EMR is the only EMR certified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance, NCQA. NCQA is a non-profit organization started in 1990, dedicated to improving healthcare quality. They accomplish this by measuring quality, because measurement leads to improvement. Certification is possible because of the unique data structure within Centricity EMR. The NCQA Physician Recognition Program is voluntary for physicians. Once certified, these physicians are recognized in many health plan directories, as well as being recognized for pay-for-performance programs.
