BEFORE YOU EVEN COME TO CLASS. . .
After years of teaching experience, I have devised a list of Dos and Don'ts of polite behavior in the classroom CLASSROOM ETIQUETTE Illustrated Edition BEFORE YOU EVEN COME TO CLASS. . .
2
RELIEVE YOURSELF Barring real emergencies, you should not be getting up in the middle of class for a potty break. Should you insist, remember you will use a pass from your agenda. Should you not have an agenda or should you be out of passes, you will be required to attend After School Detention. REMINDER: Use the restroom on the way to class or after leaving class.
3
TAKE CARE OF NON-CLASS BUSINESS OUTSIDE OF CLASS TIME
Between classes go see the nurse, run errands, visit locker, get something from a friend, get a pencil from the office. Should you insist, you will use your agenda pass. Should you not have an agenda or agenda pass, you will be required to attend After School Detention.
4
TURN OFF YOUR CELL PHONE
(I sincerely doubt you're so important that missing a call or a text message will adversely affect the fate of the universe. Besides, you and the cell phone could end up in the front office parted!)
5
NO NOs. . . ASSUMING THAT PERFUME/COLOGNE
IS A SUBSTITUTE FOR BATHING If I can smell you, you've got WAY too much on! Besides, I’ll know that you haven’t bathed recently! Don’t put any cologne or scented lotions on in class either. You may cause others to start sneezing!

(Sorry, you have to know everything!)

Don't make me count the minutes I will surely miss a beat Don't make me seeth in anger Don't make me grind my teeth I hate sitting on the edge of my seat Waiting for my name to be called I hate biting my lips in anticipation I hate to be in this state of appall I'm my time's master And I will spare none for you Why make me wait When you have nothing to do? So I'm leaving now I'll never come back again You can sit and wait for me forever Then you will understand my pain....hmmph! So saying, off she went!! impatient and yet still unemployed!!
