Effective resolution to a wide range of conditions
Top diagnoses Sinus problems Urinary tract infection Pink eye Bronchitis Upper respiratory infection Nasal congestion Allergies Flu Cough Teladoc treats many conditions that your primary care physician would treat; but if you cannot get an appointment with your PCP quickly, or if you’re away from home, many times employees go to urgent care, or to the emergency room, so they can receive treatment quickly. Those care settings are costly, and usually inconvenient. Teladoc is a great option for fast, convenient, secure, quality care for many minor medical issues. Here is a list of the most common conditions our doctors treat If medically necessary, Teladoc physicians will prescribe medication as part of your treatment plan. Teladoc physicians follows the guidelines for prescribing established by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Teladoc physicians do not prescribe controlled substances, psychiatric or lifestyle drugs All prescriptions are sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice. How does Teladoc work? Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Step 6
To use Teladoc, you’ll first need to register and create your Teladoc account, and provide some brief medical history– that way you’ll be ready to request a visit with Teladoc physician whenever you or a family member need care. You can register, complete your medical history and request a visit on the Teladoc website, by phone, or on our award-winning mobile app. Any way you choose, it’s easy to use Teladoc. When the Teladoc physician calls your or joins the video consult, take as much time as you need– there’s no hurry. The doctor will likely ask you some questions about your condition so that he/she can diagnose your issue and explain the appropriate treatment plan. Anytime you have a Teladoc visit, you can elect to have a record of the visit sent to your primary care physician– it’s your choice. Your cost for a Teladoc visit is never more than $ Plan A members will pay a $10 copay for each Teladoc visit. Plan C members pay $40 for each Teladoc visit until deductible is met; after that, members pay the same coinsurance that they would for a primary care physician visit. That will be the same for the new plans being added for 2018 (Plans Q, J and N)– members in those plans will pay $40 for each Teladoc visit until their deductible is met; after that, they’ll pay the same coinsurance as for a primary care physician visit. Let’s take a few minutes to review a brief video which demonstrates how to register, complete your medical history, and request a Teladoc visit.
