Training sessions will be topic focused. TracDat entry; data analysis; Student Services; Academic Services Training on data analysis. Explain the purpose of Program Review. Additional training for the Deans on how to use the Audit Rubric to help their units complete program review. Training on how to develop Actions that can be completed within one year. Ensuring that all assessment data is uploaded into program review. Training on how to evaluate the assessment cycle (not just the data)

Conducted by the Office of Research, Planning and Institutional Effectiveness All District personnel are surveyed Provides a “User perspective” 166 responses were received 11% Administrators 31% Fulltime Faculty 22% Adjunct Faculty 34% Classified

Training sessions are provided in the Spring (April-May) and the Fall (September) Training sessions are offered on all campuses Training sessions are conducted in computer labs for “hands-on” help completing program reviews Program Review Training – Survey Results There was enough training sessions (94%) Training sessions covered all aspects of program review you needed (83%) Did you attend one of the program review training sessions? (50%)

Recommendations for 2018 Move more training to the Fall from the Spring. Propose changes to data metrics included in program review. Add Efficiency Change Enrollment to FTES Include only the top five (enrollment) courses in the academic unit Links to additional data and data sources Complete Canvas Course to house all training PowerPoints, videos and other program review materials Modify TracDat prompts for clarity. Modify Instruction Manual, as needed, to reflect any changes.
