We wanted another one of our young Veterans to be here this evening but she could not because she is now busy working.
When she first came to us she has a list of needs you will see on the right of the slide. We were able to work with her and through the hard work of the organizations on the right side she was able to create enough stability she didn’t have when she left the military.
This service model works. It works because of VANC’s ability to match Veterans problems to organizations who can solve them.

8. Career Transition Assistance Program (CTAP)
You can see things are getting a bit crowded in our temporary classroom and we will need some more space. We currently have about 25 students per class with a waiting list.

Combination of hands on and classroom education that builds on military experience to gain Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification. Leads to employment in Fire, Police, Hospital Emergency Room, Border Patrol .
