6 What Pupils Say We Do: It’s a Guidance Teacher! Helps you with any issues to do with subjects, coursing, careers. She gives you your lunch money when you forget it! Someone who helps you when you have a problem in school or outside of school Someone to talk to Someone who helps you find the answers you need when you don’t know what else to do. Someone who phones home when you are not behaving! Works in a team to monitor and support your academic, social and emotional progress and you move through the school and beyond.

10 Information 2nd- 6th October 2017 3 houses each go to a different centre, but experience similar activities Class accompanied by Pupil Support Leader, other staff and 2 senior pupils. Approximate cost £250

14 Residential- purpose Develop house & class identity
Build relationships with new classmates Get to know staff who will be working with pupils through their time at high school Try new activities Have fun! Residential is the end of our formal transition into high school.

15 Where we go from here… In PSE we will prepare for residential- sorting out dorms, making groups etc. £250 will be due by Friday 22nd September- please let your child's pupil support leader know if there are any issues as payment plans/ funding is available.
