Fig. 1 A 12-mm transverse incision is made 1cm just above the iliac crest, at the level of the Petit triangle. Two mini-ports are inserted under digital guidance at the level of the anterior and posterior axillary line. Then the third mini-port is placed at the level of the tip of the 12th rib. Finally, a 12-mm standard port is placed at the level of the first incision. The ports form a diamond shape.
