This processes provides quality deliverables within stipulated timeframe so that we can assure better quality deliverables to the business by mitigating risk factors.
3
Scope The purpose of this white paper is to bring out some of the best practices of quality strategies that Datamatics is following while working on agile projects. Following are some of the key things that are addressed in this document - How to follow Quality strategies or processes in agile to ensure flawless testing, zero leakage of bugs, quality products. Why it’s important How to implement it in scrum methodology
4
Overview Quality is the standard to which the product or process meets specified requirements and customer needs and expectations. It is a set of activities followed to deliver good quality of software by reducing defects or any rework, in process. Strategy is the blueprint which holds the testing approach, to be followed for improving the quality of product/services. It is an approach to plan, organize, monitor, implement solution for future issues of the project.

Important Elements of Quality Strategies
Peer Review - Maintain Peer review Checklist for testers. System Test Case Review - Session conducted with stakeholders and scrum team including UAT and BA/PO to discuss high level scenarios. UAT Test Case Review - Session conducted with UAT to discuss end to end scenarios.
6
Quality Risk Analysis We follow Quality Risk Assessment process extensively for our agile projects.

RAID Principles Assumptions are not certain. Each assumption must have: A Test Description An Owner A Deadline for the Test to be completed An Outcome – Fact or Issue Dependencies are things to perform any action, it must have: A Continuous action to monitor the dependency
8
Continued.. Risk are things that may happen that will stop us performing the activities. Each risk must have: An Owner A Plan of Mitigation Issue can be a risk that must have a resolution plan. An issue will need: A Plan that will describe how we will resolve the problem A Deadline of when the problem will be resolved by

Automation Regression Test
Automation scripts are re-usable and enable faster execution for greater test coverage and regression testing. Scripts are executed prior to release and handed over to regression team. Regression team gives the sign off and include automated scripts into final automation pack before every release.
10
Functional Knowledge Transfer Across Teams
This session happens post every sprint end. Every system test team member will be aware of what have been implemented and delivered as a part of functional or non functional changes. System testers gain knowledge in different functional modules and utilize their knowledge on new projects.
11
Conclusion Test Strategies have been beneficial to our organisation in mitigating the product risks and trust to end users. The defects leakage has been reduced and quality of product has improved by following the improved test strategy. Identify the different levels of testing required for project to be implemented for better quality by analyzing the risks.
