Goal 1: Read goal Is it SMART? Is it short, mid, or long term? Read plan & actions Make suggestions on plan & actions During the processing time, students pair up with a neighbor and confer by each partner sharing a one-sentence summary of what they feel was the most important part of the lecture. Then students compare each other’s notes and fill in their notes with ideas from their partner’s notes. During the third step, students seek to clarify by recording questions they have after re-reading their notes. Debrief the C3 exercise by having students ask their clarifying questions and share out ideas that they borrowed from their partner’s notes. SUMMER PARTNERS
