3 Gaius Julius Caesar Conquered Gaul (from modern French-Riviera to Normandy) BC. Crossed the English Channel and successfully invaded England (55 BC).

4 Hannibal Barca Sieges Saguntum (Roman ally) provoking 2nd Punic War.
Successfully crosses Alps and invades Italy; Long winding campaign includes battles of Cannae (216 BC) and Tarentum.

5 Geiseric Invaded Africa from Spain and captured Carthage in 439 A.D.
Invaded Italy and Sacked Rome in 455 A.D.

6 M.Vipsanius Agrippa Defeated Marc Antony at Actium (31BC), securing power over Roman world for Octavian

9 Lucius Domitius Aurelianus
Defeated the Jutes after their invasion of Northern Italy in 270 AD. Repulsed barbarian invasion of the Vandals and Sarmatians in 271 AD.
