Hello Welcome to a brief introduction of our Weiland Coastal Standard Program As we’ve heard countless times, it’s more than just a quote program, it’s a unique sales tool A handful of dealers and reps helped us get to this point and we continue to receive great feedback and input Much of which has been reflected in this updated presentation I hope you’ll walk away realizing how easy it is to quote and walk a potential client through the process At the same time, the simplicity of this program does not take away from the importance of reviewing drawings, installation and other related documents. We’ll talk about the Weiland Standard Programs including why and how it works and how to access the program on our website. The WSP is a great sales tool and qualifying tool that can help save you time thus enabling you to sell more big doors.

Weiland Custom Doors (lots of options! Too many?)
If you’re familiar with decision or choice fatigue, you’ve probably experienced how confusing or frustrating it can be facing this type of menu at a drive through window, especially with a car full of kids. At some point you give up, roll down the windows, and tell everyone to order their own meal! I think over the years, Weiland’s ingenuity and offering of unlimited sizes, configurations and performance options have, at times, been overwhelming for many customers and we’ve actually lost business or frustrated potential clients. We’re still prepared, able and love the opportunity to work with our great super high end, super custom clients. But we also needed to address another, probably bigger, market opportunity with something more like this……

… The Weiland Standard Programs. This is our attempt to make it much easier for clients to buy big doors and provide a much more enjoyable experience. And why not provide significant savings and a shorter lead time at the same time?

What Does the Weiland Standard Program Do For You?
Expands Market Expands Reach Expands Capacity Expands Sales! What does the Weiland Standard Program do for you? As you probably know, our doors have been combined with many window brands and we’ve needed to match all of their colors. The result was every color was custom and it caused longer lead times and higher small job set up costs. We’ve taken the opportunity to stock extrusions in Andersen’s 3 most popular colors, dark bronze, black and Colony White. This has helped generate the lion’s share of savings in time and money we’re able to offer with this program. The lower price point expands our market opportunities by moving into the void between lower priced, lesser performing Multislides and our high end, high performing custom Liftslides A much simpler offering is easier to present and can help shorten the sales cycle providing an opportunity to expand our reach by getting in front of more potential customers. (You’ll see that while this program allows you to answer only 10 quick questions to order a door, there are actually over 500 combinations of sizes, configurations and options included in this offering. A limited offering of sizes, configurations and stocked colors allow for already prepared drawing and production packages for a shorter lead time which expands our capacity ….. And of course, this should all lead to more SALES!

AWLS WSP Comparison to: Low High Average West Coast $749 $1,681 $1,161 East Coast $866 $1,944 $1,343 The Dealer Price (including shipping) of a WSP system will be between approximately $750 and just over $1,900 per lineal foot, dependent on configuration and options selected as well as where the door is being shipped. The average price per lineal foot is approximately $1,250 . The Dealer Price (including shipping) of a WSP-Coastal system will be between approximately $1,300 and $2,900 per lineal foot, dependent on configuration and options. AWLS WSP Comparison to: Low High Median Custom AWLS 3% 23% 13% Custom ALS -7% 16% 2% The Dealer Price of a WSP system will be approximately 13% on average less than a custom AWLS system. The savings could be as low as 3% or as high as 23% dependent on configuration and options selected. The Dealer Price of a WSP system will be approximately 2% on average less than a custom ALS system. The WSP system could cost upto 7% more than an ALS system or 16% less than an ALS system, dependent on configuration and options selected. The Dealer Price of a WSP-Coastal system will be approximately 16% on average less than a custom Coastal system. Keep it Simple Always START with WSP to help establish and manage expectations Limited options shortens decision and makes selling process more enjoyable Significant savings over Weiland Custom Pricing Up to 20% from custom Remember that multiple door orders can receive additional savings due primarily to shipping savings “Fewer, Bigger Panel” options Get a bigger view with more glass Save another $2,000 to over $5,000 per system just by reducing the number of panels for a more dramatic opening that also eliminates some of the competition. Reduce lead time to only 8 weeks from order & drawing approval To summarize some highlights before we enter the quote tool on our website: Limited options can quickly be expanded by viewing the matrix to help keep focus on “which one” vs. “yes or no” A customer can easily and comfortably be transitioned to another product if the option costs are still prohibitive without creating unnecessarily high expectations for a day or two while waiting for a custom quote. After reviewing expanded pricing for doors just outside the WSP, please call the office regarding how to place the order.
