2 HINTS CREATING PM SCHEDULES FOR EQUIPMENT
TO CREATE A PM SCHEDULE FOR A PIECE OF EQUIPMENT YOU NEED to Pre-Determine 4 ITEMS Step A. Write Down Equip. Number(s) . (Hint use excel extract on Equip. List screen) Menu: Equipment>Equipment List Step B. Determine PM Task (Job Instruction) Menu: Work Orders>Work Order Planning>Tasks (Job Instructions) Step C. Decide on Frequency of PM for the field “Perform-Every-(Recommend-Use-Weeks)” Recommend: Frequency should be Daily or Weekly Increments (avoid mth, year (D-Daily, W-Weekly, 4WK-Monthly, 13WK-Quarterly, 52WK-Annual, C-Periodic Based on Meter) Step D. Determine 1st PM Start Date, Recommend: Always use a Monday for the field “Next-PM/Calib.-Start-Date” Recommendation: If you have LIKE equipment that will use the SAME PM TASK, put them all on one PM Schedule, the frequency can vary for each piece of equipment attached to the PM Schedule ONCE YOU HAVE DOCUMENTED STEPS A THROUGH D ABOVE; Menu: Work Orders> Work Order Planning>PM Schedules Tab>Step 1 - Record View PM Schedule Code: Create the SCHEDULE Code & Description field “PM-Schedule-Code & Description (Start-with-Plant-Code Followed by the PM Task Code You Will Attach)” (Example: CV09-6WK) Tab>Step 2 - Add Task(s) Job Instruction: Add the Task Code to the Schedule Tab> Step 3- Add Equip. No.: Add “Equip.-No.” or numbers to the PM Schedule, Modify Frequency & Next PM Date on each Equip. as Required On-Going: Add or Remove Equip. from the Schedule IF YOU WANT A ROUTE BASED PM PLEASE GO TO THE FULL TRAINING Tab> Step 4 - Optional Add Documents : Add Document Code to the PM Schedule C- Creating PM Schedule, ( )

3 CREATING PM SCHEDULES FOR EQUIPMENT
When naming your PM Schedule make sure to follow the PM Code Convention Start with your Plant Code Followed by the Task Code Chosen Followed by The Frequency in Weeks Example 1: Plant 36, using Task Code 00-AGC01-2WK, frequency every 4 Weeks PM Schedule Code: AGC01-4WK Description: Every 4 Week PM: Automatic Guided Cart (IDC Model E-500) Plant 200, using Task 00-CV09, frequency every 6 weeks PM Schedule Code: CV09-6WK Description: Every 6 Week PM: Overhead Conveyor & Carriers (GM-31XX, E2SC) Example 2: C- Creating PM Schedule, ( )

FIND THE EQUIP. OR EQUIP. NUMBERS IN THE EQUIP. SCREEN Make sure you know the Equip. Number (HINT EXTRACT TO EXCEL) C- Creating PM Schedule, ( )

5 2. Navigate to the Task Screen
Make sure you know the TASK Number that matches your PM Needs All Tasks Include their Equip.-Type, for easier filtering. WRITE DOWN YOUR TASK NUMBER C- Creating PM Schedule, ( )

7 NEED A TASK ADDED OR EDITED BASED ON PLANT EXPERIENCE/LEARNING
JCIM: Contact AME, Joe Buffa, SEATING: Add Your OWN IN INFOR, Highlight the text, copy & paste (Ctrl C & Ctrl V on Keyboard) into an Work Request to Plant 90 with edits made It Goes on Work Log for AME to Complete, You will get ed back if questions or when it is entered and ready to use. (do not send parts, send entire entry) That Way If Agreed it is a quick Cut & Paste FILL out a Work Request in INFOR to Plant 90, include the Following in the Comments of the Work Request to Plant 90. Text is formatted as Proper Case , (1st Letter Capitalized) No Periods at ends of lines, action to take if something is found comes after a “;” Heading Defines the PM Task & Frequency The equipment number & equipment description that will use this TASK is to be sent all Check Boxes are as shown Standard Header & Footer, ALL PMS get these **If not sent to this way, it takes s back and forth to interpret, and longer to format for load. Double Click on the Record You Wish To Copy, or Select for Adding All New C- Creating PM Schedule, ( )

14 Special Note: Changing PM Schedule Frequency
Note: Changing Frequency “Perform-Every-(Recommend-Use-Weeks)” on the PM Schedule mass updates the frequency on all of the equipment on the Equip. Tab as well. C- Creating PM Schedule, ( )

16 6. Once you have all the equipment attached and activities attached to a PM Schedule, you are ready to GENERATE & PRINT Work Orders. See the other procedures for a quick reference on how to do that. PM SCHEDULES USING CHECK SHEET/PICTURE C- Creating PM Schedule, ( )

17 Optional- 7. Attach Document to PM Schedule
Step 1- Determine if there is an existing document that fits your needs (write down the Document name or Copy it – Ctrl C). Step 2- If you found one that matched your needs, you can go to the Documents Tab of the PM Schedule screen and click on “Add Document.” Step 3- Type in the Document Name, or hit Ctrl V if you copied it, and select the Document. Step 4- Then check off the copy/print options that you want to apply. Step 5- Hit save. If you did not find a Document that fits your needs or you want an existing Document modified, you will need to submit a Work Request to Plant 90. Send an to with the attached document (make sure if it is a modified document that you highlight the proposed changes). In the comments section state that you have sent an with the attached document. Also, provide your rationale for needing the modified document or a new document to be added to the system. C- Creating PM Schedule, ( )
