Measurements were carried out For different “states of assembly”:
0deg 90deg 45deg 135deg 180deg Measurements were carried out For different “states of assembly”: Empty Drum, Drum with fork and Cu-wire, Drum with fork, Cu-wire and “Fritz”-wire (W-wire); Ferrites (TT2-111R). 2. In different fork positions; Only measurements with fork are compared. 22/09/2018 Christine Vollinger, BE/RF

Goal of the Measurements: 1. To provide data for benchmarking of simulations. Measurements to be carried out on the structure in different configurations; Measurement with ferrites in a position “easy-to-place”, so that simulations with ferrite materials can be carried out. 2. Find mitigating measures to reduce the impedance from simulation (e.g. position of W-wire or a good ferrite location). W. Andreazzi 22/09/2018 Christine Vollinger, BE/RF

Calculated Qs (unloaded) for 2nd Resonance TBC that this is really the unloaded Q…; For all fork positions, both measures, i.e. the “Fritz”-wire and the ferrite result in a reduction of Qunloaded ; This is our expectation & the effect that we wanted (?) 22/09/2018 Christine Vollinger, BE/RF

Calculated Qs (unloaded) for 1st Resonance TBC that this is really the unloaded Q…; For the 0deg position, almost no effect on the Q is observed. The “Fritz”-wire and the ferrite both reduce the Q for all resonances except for the 2nd. Why? Again: Except for the 45deg position – this is our expectation & the effect that we wanted (?) What about all other resonances? 22/09/2018 Christine Vollinger, BE/RF
