Hakula Lodge Ltd is Tonga's premium sports fishing lodge established in 1999 and a perfect opportunity for the family man looking for a life style change or a retiree who is not yet ready to fully retire. The first things guests notice upon arrival at Hakula Lodge is the incredible view of the Port of Refuge Harbour. Commonly referred to as the most beautiful harbour in Tonga – maybe even the world – Hakula Lodge is perfectly situated on its waterfront, in the chain of Vava’u islands. Fishing is good all year round in Tonga so charters can be booked as you feel up to it. There are two international tournaments held annually to wet the appetite of keen anglers.

Surrounded by a rich, green tropical garden Hakula Lodge offers guests two beautifully decorated rooms The lodge is comprised of owner/ managers residence with three bed rooms, a master bed room with en-suite bathroom opening on to a full length deck, a guest bed room with en-suite and a third spare bed room that could double as a store room / craft room. The large lounge, complete with 48 inch HD TV opens on to the deck with six burner BBQ and setting for eight. Large modern kitchen with stainless steel and fridge /freezer, fully serviced laundry and staff toilet. There is an office overlooking the harbor complete with VHF radio communication. The lower floor features two self-contained units that can accommodate up to eight adults. A store room for bedding and freezer.

Hakula Lodge Ltd is offered as is walk in walk out with all furniture and fittings included. The lease is a Tongan Government 50 year lease with an extendable 50 year option the lease as of October 2015 has 48 years left to run on the first 50 years. The setting is quiet enough to enjoy the peace and beauty of the island, but still within a 20-minute walk to downtown Neiafu; the second largest city in Tonga offers a variety of local shops and restaurants.
