The highest point seen on the map is at Shatton Edge where it is 417m high (194807). The contour lines surrounding Shatton Edge are very close together which shows that the land is rising steeply towards Shatton Edge. The north of the area is a lower and flatter relief than in the south, e.g. the highest point in the north is about 250m. Separating the north and south is a valley running from east (1783) to west (2181). The area around Weir Mills (204834) is ore gently sloped than the surroundings. 81 18 21
