2 TYPES OF SWITCHES A switch contains at least two contacts, which close or open when an external lever, slide or button is flipped or moved. They are used to prevent current or move current along a different route. Examples of different types include:- Push button (sometimes called tactile) Slider Toggle Rotary Tilt Rocker 1 2 3 4 5 6

3 Solder tilt switch in place
Before inserting the tilt switch bend both of the legs by 90° and insert the centre leg in the upper hole. Also make sure the tilt switch is laying flat on the PCB board.

4 Make sure the legs go in the correct holes
