Fig. 1 Recurrence-free survival of patients with stage C CRC grouped by MSI status. All patients received adjuvant 5-FU–based chemotherapy after surgery. Only 1 of 11 MSI+ patients had a recurrence, whereas 43 of 84 MSI− patients had a relapse during follow-up. At 3 years, the difference between the MSI+ and MSI− groups is statistically significant (P = 0.020, log-rank test).
