2 Be Honest – Tell God How You Feel

3 Lamentations 3:1-6 “I am the man who has seen affliction by the rod of his wrath. He has driven me away and made me walk in darkness rather than in light; indeed, he has turned his hand against me again and again, all day long. He has made my skin and my flesh grow old and has broken my bones. He has besieged me and surrounded me with bitterness and hardship. He has made me dwell in darkness like those long dead...”

Be Obedient - Keep Doing What You Know You Are Called To Do

5 Nehemiah 4:10-11 Meanwhile the people in Judah said, “The strength of our laborers is giving out, and there is so much rubble that we cannot rebuild the wall.” Also our enemies said, “Before they know it or see us, we will be right there among them and will kill them and put an end to the work.”

6 Nehemiah 4:14 “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”

8 Lamentations 3:19-20 “I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall. I well remember them and my soul is downcast within me.”

9 Lamentations 3:21-24 “Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”

10 Psalm 34:17-19 “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.”

11 Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

12 Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a hope and a future.”

13 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 “We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;”

14 Galatians 6:9 “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”
