Federal Institution Renewal
Institutions must submit their renewal prior to submitting MLO renewal All institutions in an “Active” status must renew there are no exceptions/exemptions

Common Misunderstandings - Institution
Renewing your $55 VIP Credential is not the same as the $100 institution renewal Where can you find expiration dates? Under Admin Tab A criminal background check is not required for registration renewal Even if prints have expired Employment Changes during Renewal

Step 1 – Click the Renew/Reactivate tab Step 2 – Click Submit in the submenu Step 3 – Click the Manual button

All Active registrations will be listed – Active Institution and Active MLOs Institutions with 100 or fewer MLOs can renew their institution and eligible MLOs at the same time

Renewal Cart Institution renewal costs $100 **If paid by credit card, a 2.5% service fee will be added**

Report should be used during every stage of renewal: Preparing for renewal Building batch upload (if applicable) As a follow up tool When wondering “Am I done?” Run this report!

Manual vs. Upload If an institution has 100 or few MLOs eligible for renewal Manually submit MLOs or Perform a renewal batch upload If an institution has 101 or more MLOs eligible for renewal Only the Upload button will display after institution renewal is submitted manually

Received by Institutions (nightly) when more than 500 MLOs complete attestation for the previous day: Encouraged to use the Renewal/Reactivation Activity Report to track MLO attestation compliance
